Application Requirements

An admissions phone meeting is required of parents before applying. A student visit (shadow day) and assessment is required. A tour of the school for parents and students is recommended. 
For our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs, please submit:

1. Application 
2. Emergency Contacts and Permission Form
3. Copy of Birth Certificate
4. Current Immunization Records
5. Baptismal Certificate (for Catholic applicants)
6. Progress Summary from current Early Childcare Program (if applicable)
7. Copy of most recent IEP (if applicable)

For Kindergarten through 8th Grade enrollment, please submit:

1. Application 
2. Emergency Contacts and Permissions Form
3. Current Immunization Records  
4. Copy of Birth Certificate 
5. Copy of most recent Report Card
6. Standardized Test Results
7. Copy of most recent IEP/ISP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
8. Baptismal Certificate (for Catholic applicants)

Students entering our Preschool program must be 3-years-old before October 15, and be fully independent with toileting processes. 

Children entering Pre-Kindergarten must be four (4) years of age by October 15th.

Students applying for our Kindergarten program must be five-years-old before October 15th.  Students are accepted into Kindergarten based on the results of our Kindergarten Screening test. 

Students entering grades 1 - 8 are required to have an academic assessment in math and English language arts (this includes reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, spelling) either during a visit day or on a scheduled assessment day.

All new students are accepted on a 3 month trial period to ensure placement is appropriate both academically, behaviorally, and socially.  If problems arise during this trial period, a student may be invited to withdraw his/her attendance at St. Brigid School.
